What can we learn from Alex’s initial attitude?
That many times we don’t say things out of fear or shame, but in the end honesty is always better, because at least being honest gives us the opportunity to improve our situation, if we stay silent we don’t achieve anything.

What conclusions can we draw from this situation?
That we always have to try, it is always better to be honest and do our part to improve our situations, because in the end if something is affecting us it is necessary to stop for a while and have time to manage our emotions.

    What does Alex’s boss show?
Alex’s boss shows empathy for Alex and understands his situation, and is a leader who thinks about his workers and their wellbeing.

Do you identify with this situation?
I do feel identified because I asked my boss for a change of job due to a family situation and he also accepted.

It is very important to know how to manage our emotions and have self-control in these situations. To do this, various techniques such as meditation, breathing exercises, emotional management techniques, etc. can be used. In addition, in order to think rationally and professionally, it is very important to separate our personal life from our work life, and to see it from a point of view that does not affect us as people, but that every action we take has to improve our professionalism.

The right time to solve the problem with a colleague may be during a break from work, when both colleagues are relaxed and have time to talk. In any communicative act, the most important thing is to find the right time and the right place to do it and to speak from the “I”.

You have to handle the situation in a professional way as you will still be colleagues and you have to work together on different tasks.
The first step would be to clear our minds, and think about how we are going to solve this, what we are going to do to solve it.
The second step would be to carry out the solutions, which could be talking to this colleague, talking to the boss,
Finally, reach an agreement with the colleague who is also affected by this situation and between the two of us find the solution that benefits both of us.
